Memory Quilt

This quilt really shows some university spirit!

Abbie made this quilt out of her old Purdue t-shirts from when she was in college.  She used black fleece for the border and backing.  The quilt is bound together with gold and black yarn.  This quilt is super comfortable and great for showing off your school spirit!

This small, sample memory quilt is interesting because it uses both the front and back of the t-shirts being used.  The quilt is bound by yarn.  It is ultra comfortable and warm!

Matching Memory Mosaic Pillow
This memory quilt pillow matches the quilt!

This matching quilt and pillow duo makes for a great gift for someone.  Abbie made these for her mom.  She used t-shirts from her dad,  two brothers and herself to make this special Family Memory Mosaic Quilt and Pillow.  She used green fleece for the border and backing of the quilt.  The quilt is bound together by small stitches throughout the entire quilt.

Contrasting backing makes this quilt memorable.

This is the first quilt Abbie ever made.  She used an interesting pattern and colors to make this quilt particularly special.  The blue backing makes the colors pop.  This quilt won awards in a fine arts fair in 2005.Traditional Quilt

Here is another traditional quilt made with exotic looking fabrics.

This quilt was made by BreAnne a few years ago.  Its soft pastels are great for a nursery.  The striped block pattern makes an interesting stair step design.

Pi Kappa Alpha QuiltCrest

Abbie made this quilt for her fiance.  He is graduating from Purdue this year and is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.  She used an iron-on transfer to place his fraternity’s crest in the middle of the quilt and bound it together with gold yarn.  The fraternity’s colors are garnet and gold, and she used royal blue as a border to make it extra special for him.

This quilt was made by BreAnne and Abbie for BreAnne’s grandparents.  It was constructed by using several hexagons of material.  The border and backing is a forest green, and the quilt is bound by small forest green x’s throughout the entire blanket.
